Granby Ranch Gives

Granby Ranch is founded on the principles of community—one that extends beyond our own neighborhoods to the businesses and residents of Grand County. We give back because we believe that the success and prosperity of our neighbors elevates all of us, or as we like to say, a rising tide lifts all the boats.


Community

  • Annual Carve Away Hunger opening week drive to stock the Mountain Family Center food pantry and support the Totes program which feeds 325 kids every weekend during the school year
  • Founding member of Run the Ranches, to support the Headwaters Trail Alliance
  • Financially support the Grand Enterprise Initiative
  • Founding sponsor of Mountain Bikes for 03s and 11Bs by providing rider support for bike tickets, rentals and kits, and camping accommodations. 
  • Financially support the Granby community fireworks 4th of July display
  • Founding member of the Grand Foundation, annually donating $8,000 cash and $15,000 in-kind
  • Discounted skiing for locals, with a daily rate of $45
  • Granby Ranch executives participate in Rotary, Grand County Tourism Board, Grand Foundation Board, Grand Enterprise Initiative Board
  • Ÿ Host the Bonfire Warriors program annually
  • Amenity operations support 200 jobs in the winter and 160 jobs in the summer
  • Partner with Granby, Grand Lake, and Winter Park/Fraser chambers of commerce


Land and Resources

  • Nine acres to build the Middle Park Medical Center in Granby Park
  • Nine acres to build ball fields for the Town of Granby
  • Eight acres to the Town of Granby's future Recreation Center
  • 29 acres to the Town of Granby to build up to 250 affordable housing units
  • 450-acre conservation easement for elk wintering habitat
  • $378,000 to the Town of Granby for downtown enhancements and park facilities
  • Dedicated four-mile easement to the Headwaters Trails
  • Alliance to complete the Fraser to Granby Trail
  • One percent of all real estate transfer fees to the Town of Granby to fund Rafferty Park enhancements


Youth Support

  • Mountain access and staff support to Middle Park High School’s ski team training program
  • Annual in-kind donation to the Granby Fire Department to support local youth scholarships and community members in need
  • Discounted Grand County student passes for only $69
  • Grand County students ski and ride free on Fridays
  • Ranch 2 Ranch XC Ski Trek to support Grand County youth
